Clutching Old Water Bottles

Clutching Old Water Bottles

Why do we hang on to things when we know it’s time to let go? Are we attached to the item itself or what it represents?

For my 33rd birthday, my dear friend Kortney gifted me with a Hydro Flask® water bottle. She picked a beautiful turquoise color perfectly suited to my style. If you’ve known me for a while, then you know that I’m rarely without a water bottle in hand. One of my friends once said that I’ll be clutching my water bottle when I die.

Befriending Your Fear

Befriending Your Fear

What is your relationship to Fear? When Fear shows up, do you try to hide from it, or do you take some time to be with it and comfort it like you would a scared child? What if there was more to Fear and why it’s present in your psyche?

Honor Your Impulse

Honor Your Impulse

When the impulse arises to do something, do you seize the moment and act on it? Or do you let it pass like a cloud moving in the sky likely not to return again?

An idea arises, your brain says, "Oh, let's do that!" and without much thought or reason, you take a chance and just go with it. When you take the chance and go with it, it can be exhilarating and feel wild and freeing in the moment.
